I have owned Tim Holtz Distress Inks for quite some time now. I’m sure I’m not the only one out there, but, I have not used my inks to it’s potential. I have begun to play with the distress inks more lately and… “WOW”! I don’t know why I waited so long. I have watercolored with them and distressed edges/projects…but the blending ability of these inks with stencils is a cinch. The result is gorgeous. Here is a card I made using plain cardstock cards from the $1 section at Michaels, Rosie’s Roadshow cloud stencil , and Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine.

When I started to ink the card I honestly had no plan how I was going to make the clouds but I just began moving the stencil around and the end result was better than I expected. I don’t think there is a right or wrong way of cloud placement. I finished the card off with sequins and Stickles.
